Common questions about costs
What does a move in Düsseldorf cost?
For a 2-room flat within Düsseldorf costs usually fall between €790 and €1,150, for a 3-room flat between €1,140 and €1,650. What matters is the size of the home, the distance, the floor and whether we pack for you. We give you the binding fixed price after the free on-site survey.
Is the fixed price really binding?
Yes. After the free survey you receive a written quote with a fixed price. That price stands — nothing is added on moving day as long as the scope doesn't change.
What is included in the price?
Always included are the free survey, transport insurance, disassembly and reassembly of furniture, blankets, straps and transport material, plus travel to and from within our service area.
What does a no-parking zone cost?
From €90 per address — including the application with the road traffic authority, putting up the signs, photo documentation and removal. Allow two to three weeks' lead time.
Is the move cheaper if I pack myself?
Yes. The packing service adds around 35% to the base price. If you pack yourself you save that share — we then handle transport, furniture assembly and everything heavy.
Does the Jobcenter cover moving costs?
If you receive Bürgergeld, the Jobcenter can cover the costs when the move is necessary and approved in advance. We prepare the cost estimate you need for the application.
